Our library provides a social space to meet, collaborate, research, learn, share, and relax. The staff work to develop a reading culture and raise the levels of information literacy across the school by leading students through processes which empower them to be critical thinkers, enthusiastic readers and skillful, efficient and discerning researchers.

The Oliver library management system, together with the ACEN digital library provide 24/7 access to a wealth of authentic, authoritative, age appropriate resources to specifically meet student and staff needs.

Sacred Heart Catholic Primary School Cabramatta has a varied and extensive collection of books that support the teaching and learning programs of the school’s curriculum. The Early Bird Reading Program operates out of the library every Tuesday and Thursday morning before school. A book fair is held each year to enable families to purchase exciting new releases for enjoyment at home, and all students enthusiastically participate in annual Book Week activities. All classes have a borrowing session each week and there is an opportunity for students to enjoy library facilities, books and passive games during lunchtime library club.
