Our school provides opportunities for students, staff and parents to know and celebrate their Catholic faith. This is done through the religious life of our school. Members of our community experience a rich liturgical and prayer life, celebration of the Sacraments, faith formation, social outreach activities, and opportunities to share faith with each other and with youth from other schools in the Archdiocese.

Our school has a close connection with the Catholic parish of Sacred Heart Cabramatta. Together, we enrich the Liturgical and prayer experiences for our students and their families. Our Religious Education curriculum helps students recognise God in their lives, and we see Liturgy as an integral part of school life.

Our Family and Faith program, facilitated by the Sisters of Our Lady of the Southern Cross, builds a strong partnership with children and their families, aiming to connect families to the faith life of the school. Some initiatives include sacramental craft, playgroup and community outreach initiatives.

Faith formation for staff is collaboratively designed using the “Head – learn, Heart – love and Hands – hope” approach, creating deeper connections between Scripture and our social justice initiatives. Children are prepared during weekend classes for Reconciliation and First Eucharist in Year 4 and Confirmation in Year 6. Justice and charity are central to our outreach initiatives, with our Year 6 Faith Leaders working on projects that build awareness and understanding of our local and global responsibilities, and fundraising for charities such as St Vincent de Paul and Caritas.
